Jared Cipriano enters his third season as Head Coach of the Norwich University women’s soccer program in 2025, after leading the Cadets to their best campaign in over a decade with a 10-6-4 overall mark and their first postseason victory since 2010.

Cipriano’s second season in charge saw Norwich post a 7-4-4 GNAC record and collect multiple conference honors, including Second Team selection Lindsey Duggan, who ranked among the league leaders in assists and total points, and Third Team honoree Kat Probst, who also earned a spot on the All-Sportsmanship Team. The Cadets’ postseason win capped a season filled with progress and belief.

In his first season, Cipriano helped the Cadets surpass their win total from the previous year and closed the fall on a high note with back-to-back victories. During the campaign, Bella Roy earned GNAC Player of the Week honors — the first such recognition for the program since 2018.

A Vermont native and former All-Conference student-athlete at Elmira College, Cipriano holds a Master’s degree in Athletic Leadership from Castleton University. He has coached across all levels, including stints at Norwich, Saint Michael’s College, and the University of Vermont, where he helped guide the Catamounts to the 2019 America East Regular Season co-championship.

Before returning to Norwich, Cipriano led the Black Rock FC girls' residential academy, working with international student-athletes and helping place them at NCAA programs. He continues to serve as U19 Director of Coaching at Far Post Soccer Club and is a licensed coach through the United Soccer Coaches (USC) and U.S. Soccer Federation (USSF), holding a USSF C License, USC National Diploma, and USC Level 2 Goalkeeping Diploma.

Cipriano and his wife Sarah reside in Vermont with their son, Walker.
