Jake Preston enters his third season as a volunteer assistant coach for the baseball team in 2025.
Last season, Preston aided the Cadets to one of its greatest seasons in program history, helping Norwich to its first postseason victories since 2000 by topping reigning conference champions JWU (Providence) and University of Saint Joseph (Conn.).
Preston's roots in athletics and team management trace back to his high school years, having graduated from Northfield Middle and High School in 2018. Beyond the baseball diamond, Jake extends his coaching expertise to the soccer field, where he currently guides the U32 Middle School Boys Soccer team, showcasing his versatility and commitment to nurturing young athletes across different sports.
In addition to his impactful roles in athletics, Jake is an accomplished entrepreneur, being the owner of Green Mountain Granite and Stone.
