He was recognized for his service by the Vermont General Assembly.
Since 1992, Blythe has served as an occasional Acting Judge in Vermont Superior Court, Small Claims Division, with formal recognition from the Court in 2009 for his service. His breadth of legal knowledge and judicial experience continues to inform his academic and institutional roles.
At Norwich, Blythe teaches courses in business law, construction law, human resources management, and cybercrime & cyberlaw. He has served as a faculty mentor for student internships and independent studies and advises both the Pre-Law Society and the Norwich Soccer Club.
