Ben Woessner enters his second season as an assistant coach for the baseball team in 2025.
Last season, Woessner aided the Cadets to one of its greatest seasons in program history, helping Norwich to its first postseason victories since 2000 by topping reigning conference champions JWU (Providence) and University of Saint Joseph (Conn.).
Captain Woessner is a Marine Corps Aviation Supply Officer from Virginia Beach, Va., and a 2015 graduate of Old Dominion University. He graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Physical Education with a focus in Sports Management and a minor in Marketing. He was commissioned in May 2016 via Officer Candidate School in Quantico, Va.
Captain Woessner’s personal decorations include the Navy/Marine Corps Commendation Medal and the Navy/Marine Corps Achievement Medal.
