Jess Moore enters her fifth season with the Norwich University Athletic Training staff in 2025–26 and her second as the Associate Head Athletic Trainer after serving as an Assistant Athletic Trainer for her first three years.

Moore is the primary athletic trainer for the men’s golf, men’s soccer, men’s hockey, and women’s lacrosse programs.

She returned to Vermont and joined the Norwich staff in 2021–22 after spending the previous three years at Pacific University in Hillsboro, Oregon, where she served as an Assistant Professor and Assistant Coordinator of Clinical Education and Preceptor.

Moore brought a wealth of athletic training and academic experience to Norwich, having earned a Doctor of Education in Counselor Education with an emphasis in sport psychology from the University of Montana in 2017.

She also holds a Master of Science in Education from Old Dominion University and a Bachelor of Science in Sports Medicine from Castleton University.

Moore previously served as an athletic trainer at Saint Michael’s College for seven years, including time as acting head athletic trainer. While pursuing her doctorate in Montana, she worked at Missoula Bone and Joint as an athletic trainer. Her professional experience also includes roles with Pacific University, the Portland Timbers (Major League Soccer), and Special Olympics Oregon.

Moore has been a certified member of the National Athletic Trainers Association (NATA) since 2002.
