KEENE, N.H. - The Norwich University women's swimming & diving team resumed competition for the 2026 calendar year on Saturday afternoon, collecting a trio of event victories and several top-three finishes despite falling to Keene State College, 189-83, at the Spaulding Pool.
Delaney Allen (Gibsonia, Pa.) led the Cadets with two individual wins across freestyle and individual medley events. Allen opened her day with a wire-to-wire victory in the 200-yard freestyle, clocking in at 2:04.93. She later returned to the pool to dominate the 200-yard individual medley, taking first in 2:25.49.
Norwich also earned a win on the diving board, as
Ava LePage (Palmyra, Maine) delivered a strong showing in the 1-meter competition. LePage compiled a 162.90 score to outdistance the field and notch her first diving win of the season.
The Cadets began the afternoon with a runner-up finish in the 200-yard medley relay, as the team of
Kylie Farris (Leander, Texas), Allen,
Maria Piekarczyk (Dudley, Mass.), and
Deanna Parot (San Diego, Calif.) finished second in 2:04.82.
Parot added an individual runner-up effort in the 50-yard freestyle, touching the wall in 27.39, and also contributed to Norwich's second-place relay squad in the 400-yard freestyle relay alongside
Alannah Kelliher (Middleboro, Mass.), Piekarczyk, and
Katelyn Daly (Pensacola, Fla.), who posted a 4:06.73.
Additional top-three finishes included
Ruby Knoth (Olympia, Wash.) in the 1000-yard freestyle (third in 13:06.39),
Ashley Morin (Dracut, Mass.) in the 500-yard freestyle (third in 6:16.42), Piekarczyk in the 100-yard butterfly (third in 1:09.63), and Farris in the 200-yard backstroke (third in 2:37.64).

 The Cadets will return to Goodyear Pool for the first time in the 2026 calendar year next Saturday, Jan. 17, hosting Plymouth State University for Senior Day at 12:00 p.m. Norwich will then head to Eastern Connecticut State University on Saturday, Jan. 24, to close out the regular season.
