MOUNT OLIVE, N.C. — The Norwich University women's wrestling team picked up a decisive 30–14 victory over Greensboro College and turned in several bonus-point performances across a challenging slate against nationally recognized opponents Mount Olive and Brewton-Parker on Sunday afternoon at the Trojan Duals, hosted by the University of Mount Olive. The Cadets opened the day with a convincing win, powered by four falls and a pair of forfeits.

After a double disqualification at 103 pounds, Greensboro took the 110-lb bout before Addisyn Herdic (Canterbury, Conn.) put Norwich on the board with a forfeit at 117. Gianna Silva (Monroe, Conn.) followed with the first pin of the dual, sticking Minni Locklear in 1:25 at 124 lbs.

Veronica Conant (Punta Gorda, Fla.) added another forfeit at 131 to extend the lead. Greensboro cut into the margin with a 10–0 tech fall at 138, but Norwich responded with a dominant stretch to close out the match.

Ay'Seante Ross (Wilmington, N.C.) earned a fall in just 55 seconds at 145, Ana Lemler (Bourbon, Ind.) secured a decision at 160, and Abbigale Williams (Andover, Vt.) delivered a 1:20 pin at 180. Greensboro accepted a forfeit at 207, but Norwich's early and middle-weight momentum secured the 30–14 win. Mount Olive 37, Norwich 11

Norwich earned two victories in its middle weights but was unable to slow the Trojans' strong lineup.

Mount Olive took early control with a pin and a forfeit at 103 and 110. Herdic broke through at 117 lbs with her second win of the day, pinning Ahriana Scales in 3:51.

After five straight Trojan tech falls from 124 to 160, Ross once again delivered for the Cadets, scoring a 12–2 tech fall at 145 lbs. Mount Olive closed out the dual with a fall at 180 and a forfeit at 207 for the 37–11 final. Brewton-Parker 35, Norwich 15

Norwich grabbed back-to-back pins at 117 and 124 lbs, but Brewton-Parker's bonus-point surge proved decisive.

The Barons opened with a fall at 103 and a forfeit at 110 before Herdic continued her strong day, sticking Tanjer Smith in 2:45 at 117 lbs. Silva followed with another Cadet pin, topping Adeline Harper in 1:42 at 124 lbs.

Brewton-Parker answered with falls at 131 and 138 lbs to regain control before the 145-lb bout went to Charlii Carbajal Sanchez (Broomfield, Colo.).

The Barons closed the dual with a forfeit at 160 and a pair of late falls—0:54 at 180 lbs and 2:13 at 207—to lock in the 35–15 result.

After the semester break, the Cadets will hold their first home dual meets in program history when they take on Western New England and Kean University inside Plumley Armory on Jan. 10 at noon.
