CASTLETON, Vt. - Ally Daniels scored a

netted four goals and dished out one assist to lead the Norwich
University women's lacrosse team to a 13-8 victory over Castleton
State in a non-league contest Wednesday afternoon.

victory, improve to 7-4 on the season. The Spartans, meanwhile,
fall to 6-4.
Norwich took a 7-5 lead into halftime as the teams traded goals
until the Cadets took the lead for good, 5-3 on Haviland's free

minutes of the second half, but Daniels answered with two straight
goals to give Norwich a three goal cushion with 24:18 remaining.
VanDerKar once again cut into the lead, scoring just 16 seconds
later to make it 9-7, but it was as close as Castleton State would
get.
Daniels sandwiched her final two goals around single tallies
from Chelsea Martin and Haviland.
VanDerKar led the Spartans with four goals and one assist.
