LEWISTON, Maine - Christine Doudell turned in a
pair of sixth-place finishes in the pool, and Victoria Amador
placed fourth off the boards as the Norwich women's swimming and
diving team was swept by Bates and New England on Saturday
afternoon.
The Cadets (0-6) dropped a 212-37 decision to Bates, and fell to
New England, 185-50.
Doudell placed sixth in both the 50-yard butterfly (37.70) and
the 100-yard freestyle (1:05.51).
Amador, meanwhile, took fourth in the one-meter diving even with
a score of 149.45.
Norwich returns to action on Sunday, Jan. 13, when the Cadets
travel to Waterville, Maine, to battle Colby College at 12 p.m.
