Softball: Baita, Travers highlight Cadets’ end of season banquet awards
NORTHFIELD, Vt. – The Norwich University softball team held its end of season banquet Friday, May 10 at the Partridge Pub inside the Wise Campus Center. Freshmen Corinne Baita (Rochester, N.H.) and Kelly Travers (Whitman, Mass.) highlighted the team’s postseason awards as they shared Rookie of the Year honors while Travers was named the Offensive Player of the Year and Baita was named the Most Valuable Player.

Softball: Travers, Day tabbed to GNAC All-Conference squads
BOSTON – Sophomore Briana Day (Yelm, Wash.) and freshman Kelly Travers (Whitman, Mass.) of the Norwich University softball team picked up Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) postseason honors on Monday as league officials announced the 2012 GNAC All-Conference selections.

Softball: Simmons slips past Norwich 1-0 in GNAC Playoffs
STANDISH, Maine – The Norwich University softball team outhit Simmons 8-5 on Friday afternoon at the Richard W. Bailey Softball Field on the campus of Saint Joseph’s (Maine). But, it wasn’t enough as the Cadets fell 1-0 to the Sharks to fall into the loser’s bracket of the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Tournament.
