WINTHROP, Mass. - Sophomore forward Maxime Borduas (St. Cesaire, Quebec) earned his first career New England Hockey Conference (NEHC) Player of the Week award on Monday afternoon.
Borduas had a hand in five of Norwich's seven goals on the weekend as the No. 1-ranked Cadets extended their winning streak to open the season to seven straight with a pair of victories over Babson, 2-0 and UMass Boston, 5-3.
Borduas scored both goals, including the game-winning goal in Friday's 2-0 win over Babson. He then added a goal and two assists in Saturday's 5-3 come-from-behind thriller win over the Beacons.
