NU Finishes Runner-Up At Rivier Invitational
NASHUA, N.H. - Anne Vada and Maura Kee both turned in Top 10 performances, and a total of five NU runners placed within the Top 25 as the Norwich women's cross country team finished runner-up at the Rivier Invitational Friday.
Vada was the first Cadet runner to cross the finish line, taking sixth place overall with a clocking of 21 minutes, 39 seconds. Kee, meanwhile, placed seventh with a time of 21:40.
Jaclyn McElligott finished just outside of the Top 10, placing 11th with a clocking of 22:10. Savanna Tandski was the next NU harrier to cross the finish line, taking 21st with a time of 23:17. Scarlett Grassetti rounded out Norwich's Top 5, placing 25th with a clocking of 23:43.
Norwich returns to action on Saturday, Sept. 29, when the Cadets make the trek to Lyndonville, Vt., to take part in the Vermont State Meet.
