Men's Cross Country: Cadets Place Fourth At Keene State Alumni Invitational
KEENE, N.H. – The Norwich University men’s cross country team had two runners place among the Top 50 on its way to capturing fourth place at the Keene State Alumni Invitational.
Brandon Bausch (17 minutes, 42 seconds) placed 26th overall and Joseph Roenthal (18:03) placed 35th to pace the Cadets.
Michael Christopher, Richard Well and Francis Niesbarell rounded out the NU Top 5 as all three runners crossed the line in the 19th minute.
Keene State placed three runners in the overall Top 5 to win the team race on its home turf. Eric MacKnight paced the Owls, placing second overall in a time of 16:05.
Norwich returns to action when the team travels to Manchester, N.H., to partake in the Shacklette Invitational on Saturday, Sept. 11. The race is set to start at 11 a.m.
