Men's Lacrosse: Fuller Tabbed as GNAC Player of the Week

BOSTON—Norwich junior attackman Seth Fuller (Wheaton, Ill.) of the Norwich University men's lacrosse team has been named this week's Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Player of the Week, as announced by the league office on Tuesday afternoon.

It marks the first time this season that a member of the Norwich men's lacrosse team has earned a league weekly honor.

Fuller had a season-best week for the Norwich, as he totaled 12 points from eight goals and four assists in a 3-0 week. The junior attack registered two goals and an assist against Daniel Webster, and had a week-best five points from four goals and an assist against Anna Maria. Fuller concluded the week with two goals and two assists against Rivier. 14 of his 20 shots on the week were on net, giving him a .700 shot-on-goal percentage. 

In his third year with the team, Fuller has become the leading points-producer for the Cadets, with 20 goals and a team-best 15 assists for a team-leading 35 points. He has also scooped up 23 ground balls on the season.

Fourth-seeded Norwich (7-9, 7-3 GNAC) hosts No. 5 Mount Ida on Wednesday at 7:00 p.m. in the GNAC Quarterfinals. The winner will advance to Friday's semifinal game against the winner of the No.1 Emmanuel/No. 8 Johnson & Wales game.
