Hockey: Ticket information for ECAC East men’s and women’s hockey tournaments

NORTHFIELD, Vt. – The Norwich men's and women's ice hockey teams have each locked up their respective No. 1 seed for the upcoming ECAC East Hockey Tournaments.

Both squads will host quarterfinal round games on Saturday, Feb. 25 at Kreitzberg Arena. The women will play the early game against an opponent still to be determined at 3 p.m. and then the men will host eighth-seeded University of New England at 7 p.m.

Tickets for the men's quarterfinal game are $6 for adults and $3 for students, while the women's quarterfinal prices are $5 for adults and $3 for students. As required by the ECAC, the arena will be cleared between games and there will be a separate admission for both games

Men's quarterfinal round tickets will tentatively go on sale on the Internet at www.cadetstickets.com on Thursday, Feb. 16 at noon. Any remaining tickets will be available during Friday and Saturday's games at the Kreitzberg Arena and Doyle Hall box office.

Men's quarterfinal round tickets will also be available early next week at Trans-video Cable in Northfield, Capitol Plaza in Montpelier, and People's United Bank in Barre.

If both Norwich teams win their respective quarterfinal, Kreitzberg Arena is expected to host both the men's and women's semifinals and finals on ECAC East final four weekend for the second straight season.

The tentative final four weekend format if both teams were to win will be as follows for Friday, March 2 to Sunday, March 4.

Friday, March 2nd-

Men's semifinal #1 – 4 p.m.
Men's semifinal #2 – 7 p.m.

Saturday, March 3rd-

Women's semifinal #1 – 12 p.m.
Women's semifinal #2 – 3 p.m.
Men's championship – 7 p.m.

Sunday, March 4th-

Women's championship – 3 p.m.

Ticket packages for the ECAC East men's final four weekend will be $15 for an all-session pass which includes all three games. Single day tickets will be $10 for adults and $3 for students.

Women's tickets will be $5 for adults and $3 for students on each day. The arena will be cleared on Saturday between the second women's semifinal and the men's championship game.

Tickets for the semifinals and final round will go on sale Monday, Feb. 27 at noon. Once again, all remaining tickets will be available on game day at the Kreitzberg Arena box office.

Limited men's semifinal and championship round tickets will also be available early in the week leading up to the games at Trans-video Cable in Northfield, Capitol Plaza in Montpelier, and People's United Bank in Barre.

Tickets for every round of the ECAC East women's tournament will only be available day of game at the Kreitzberg Arena and Doyle Hall box offices. No tickets will be sold in advance.

All Norwich hockey season ticket holders will be receiving information in the mail shortly on how the playoff ticket process will work for them.

The Norwich women (20-2-1, 15-0-1 ECAC East) are looking for their second straight unbeaten ECAC East regular season. The Cadets will face Salve Regina and Holy Cross this weekend to try and complete the feat.

The Norwich men (19-2-1, 14-2-0 ECAC East) have already clinched their 14th straight ECAC East regular season crown and they'll be looking for their 10th ECAC East Tournament title.
